Common Gorse illustrates one or our most bold and recognisable UK wildflowers. This gorse is basking in the hushed cool stillness of dusk, as the vibrant yellow sun lowers towards the horizon and the silver moon begins to ascend.
Bring some of the beautiful features found on Chobham Common into your home including; the effervescent coconut scented, yellow Gorse with its abundance of flowers and thick spines - a real alpha member of the pea family. The night-time yellow moon highlights the Victoria Monument in the distance and a sneaky fox looking for a midnight snack. Look up to see the bright star constellations of Leo and Ursa Minor – the little Bear, whose northern most star is the Polaris or North star. Overhead a small helicopter from Fairoaks airport is seen taking to the night sky.
