Cross-Leaved Heath Heather illustrates one or our most bold and recognisable UK wildflowers. This heather is basking in the hushed cool stillness of dusk, as the strawberry sun lowers towards the horizon and the silver moon begins to ascend.

Bring some of the beautiful features found on Chobham Common into your home including; the Cross-Leaved Heather, one of 3 heathers found on this rare heathland. The Native ferns seen in abundance and the wonderful black and white Belted Galloway cows with their shaggy coats, recently reintroduced to the common for conservation grazing. The Victoria Monument is seen in the distance. Look up and see the bright star constellations of star constellations of the Ursa Major (also known as the Plough or Big Dipper among other names) and Cygnus (derived from the Greek for Swan). Overhead a small aircraft takes to the night sky from Fairoaks airport.
